ABSTRACT
RESUMEN El presente trabajo tiene el objetivo de analizar las condicionantes sociales y el impacto social del servicio de oxigenación hiperbárica del Estado Barinas, en Venezuela. Para ello se analizaron dos dimensiones: la utilidad potencial del servicio y el análisis de los efectos en la población. El impacto social que ha tenido en el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de los pacientes atendidos, la calidad del servicio permite orientar estrategias dirigidas al mantenimiento de esta modalidad de la atención de la salud.
ABSTRACT The present work takes as an objective to analyze the social determinants and the social impact of the service of hyperbaric oxygenation of the State Barinas, in Venezuela. For it, two dimensions were analyzed: the potential utility of the service and the analysis of the effects in the population. The social impact that it has had in the improvement of the quality of life of the attended patients, the quality of the service that is offered allows to face strategies directed to the maintenance of this form of the attention of the health.
